Icons Night

Posted on 2nd Dec 2022

On the 1 November, our Sixth Form Music students hosted Icons Night. This was a concert where students performed songs by their cherished music heroes, bringing nostalgia and sentimentality to the audience, as treasured songs and artists made it back to the hearts of the most important people in the world, the parents.

We witnessed the hard work of the Attleborough Academy music students as they used their love of their Idols to produce some iconic performances, from the classic rock of Queen and Arctic Monkeys, to R&B by Tom Misch.  This concert encompassed the diverse musical taste of our students, as awestruck parents watched in wonder.

Thanks to our sensational catering department, the audience were able to enjoy, not only the music, but also refreshments and cakes. Mrs Flaherty, someone who never fails to outdo herself, continually helps the music department to shine, through her wholehearted enthusiasm and enormous effort.

The remarkable hard work of all those involved in this event was rewarded by an ecstatic audience that loved to clap along.
