Attleborough Academy is World Class

Posted on 08th Mar 2023

Attleborough Academy is delighted to announce that we have been designated the status of being a ‘World Class School’ by being awarded the ‘World Class Schools Quality Mark’ (WCSQM).

We were invited by the Trust to apply for this Quality Mark after Wymondham College achieved this accreditation. Only schools which have a significant student cohort demonstrating World Class skills and competencies can apply for the World Class School Quality Mark accreditation and the World Class School network only awards this Quality Mark to non-selective state schools that offer the best education to young people in the UK.

Congratulations to Mrs Moss who led the application process and particular congratulations and thanks go to all the students who volunteered to be involved and worked so hard on behalf of all other students on the application submissions. These students were:

Harry Ewin; Aiden Binu; Nicole Cepin; Toby Clark; Matt Dilks; Amaya Ellis; Charlie Felgate; Lewis Fielding; Archie Flatt; Finley Hooper; Isaac Jervis; Jake Kent; Harrison Kent; Bethany Leonard; Poppy Lloyd; Chloe Male; Holly McKenzie; Khloe Middlebrook; Sofia Parfitt; Eleanor Sangster; Oliver Sayer; Maria Stioboranu and Amelia Towell.

Other students involved in the process were:

Josh Boundy; Poppy Laidlaw; Thomas Shepherd; Sian Taylor; Rhys Adcock; Jack Rosales and Brigita Neniske.

This status is a tribute to us all in our community - World Class students, staff, parents and carers!
