With effect from September 2022, we are looking to appoint a well-qualified teacher of PSHE and Citizenship to join the PSHCE Faculty at Attleborough Academy.

The successful candidate will teach both subjects to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. There is the possibility of teaching A Level Government and Politics for the right candidate. The ability to teach Religious Studies and/or A Level Government and Politics is desirable but not essential.

Attleborough Academy is a popular, 11 to 18 Academy which is continually developing to meet the demands of providing the highest quality education for all students. EXAMINATIONS INVIGILATORS X 3
SALARY £10.88 PER HOUR (INCLUDING HOLIDAY PAY)

Attleborough Academy is seeking to appoint a further three Exam Invigilators to join its existing resource supporting the Examinations Officer. Exam Invigilators are responsible for the efficient conduct of Public Examinations in accordance with the regulations of the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ).

Exam Invigilators are required to work on a flexible basis at mutually agreed times. There is no guarantee of regular work or a guaranteed minimum of hours per year. Exam Invigilators are required to work at various times during the year for both Public Examinations and Mock Examinations and expected to be available for the main Examination periods (May and June).

Successful candidates will receive relevant training upon appointment and join a friendly and professional team of people to carry out this important role within the school.

STUDENT SUPPORT MENTOR

With effect from June/July 2022, we are seeking to appoint a Student Support Mentor to join the Academy’s Student Support Team. The successful candidate will be supporting the needs of a range of students whether that is in or out of the classroom and in our Inclusion Centre. There may be an expectation for the successful candidate to focus on a particular specialism within the team.

The appointed candidate will be joining an existing dynamic, flexible, resilient and hardworking Student Support Team. A natural empathy, caring nature and proven experience of working with vulnerable students are all essential requirements to work in this challenging but extremely rewarding position.

CLASSROOM ASSISTANT (STUDENT SPECIFIC)

With effect from June 2022, or earlier, we are seeking to appoint a Classroom Assistant to join the Academy’s Student Support Team.

This position is linked to a Year 7 student who will need help and support in lessons to be able to access their learning and make progress. As such, the role is fixed term for the duration of the student’s academic career at the Academy (Year 7 to Year 11 and possibly thereafter, Sixth Form).

The Student Support Team is a very close-knit and effective group of individuals who provide high quality and personalised care and support in the belief that this is key to student success and enjoyment during their time at the Academy.

The successful candidate will need to be flexible, resilient and hardworking and committed to the role. A natural empathy, caring nature and proven experience of working with vulnerable and challenging students is an advantage as such qualities are are essential requirements to work in this challenging but extremely rewarding position.

MINIBUS DRIVER
SCALE POINT 5-6 £7,755 TO £8,050 (PRO-RATA SALARY)

17.5 HOURS PER WEEK (MONDAY TO FRIDAY)

We are currently recruiting for a Minibus Driver to provide safe and reliable transport in line with student educational requirements. The successful candidate will work as an individual and as part of a team to deliver high quality customer service to students and related support operations on the school site.

Applicants for this post must hold a full pre-1997 driving licence with B/BE/C1/C1E/D1/D1E driving entitlements or if post-1997, have successfully passed additional tests to cover entitlements B/BE/C1/C1E/D1/D1E. Applicants must also be prepared to undertake and successfully pass the minibus driving assessments prior to employment.
