Our Main School Open Evening for students joining Year 7 in September 2027 will take place on Thursday 1 October 2026. We are looking forward to welcoming prospective students and their families to Attleborough Academy and giving you the opportunity to discover what makes our school such a special place to learn and grow.
Throughout the evening, you will have the opportunity to explore our excellent facilities, meet our dedicated staff and students and experience the vibrant learning environment that makes Attleborough Academy unique. Our team of student Prefects will be on hand to lead guided tours, giving you an insight into everyday life at the Academy while showcasing the outstanding work taking place across our departments.
Due to the popularity of this event in recent years and to help minimise congestion, we will be running two welcome sessions at 18.00 and 19.30. This also provides greater flexibility for parents and carers with different working patterns.
Following each welcome session, parents and carers will have the opportunity to tour the Academy in supervised groups. This will allow you to visit our classrooms, explore our wide range of resources and see first-hand some of the excellent work carried out by our students and staff. It will also provide an opportunity to meet our Subject Teachers and Prefects who will be happy to answer any questions you may have about your child attending Attleborough Academy.
The evening has been designed to help you make an informed decision about your child's secondary education. We hope it provides a valuable opportunity to ask questions, learn more about our curriculum, pastoral care and wider enrichment opportunities and discover what it means to be part of Team Attleborough.

Important
Please note that due to the ongoing development of our Sports Hall, parking on site is extremely limited. Where possible, we kindly ask that you park in Queens Square and enter the Academy through the bottom gate and then make your way to the Main Hall Reception to sign in for the welcome talk. Prefects will be available to guide you to where you need to be.
