Homework

We believe that homework forms an important part of students’ learning. Subject teachers will set a variety of homework, outlined in the table below.

Students should ensure that they meet deadlines as set by teachers and are expected to take an increased responsibility for their own learning, including homework, as they move through the Academy. Most homework is set by using ‘Class Charts’ which allows parents and carers to keep up to date with what has been set (please see the Class Charts section of this handbook).

It is helpful if parents and carers can provide a quiet working place at home and a routine each day to allow time for homework. Please support your child in completing homework tasks to a high standard, check Class Charts and discuss any homework with them.Website Timetable
