Year 11 Leavers' Assembly

Posted on 10th Mar 2022

Class of 22

As head of Year 11, it is the time of year that I start thinking about their leavers’ assembly - a wonderful occasion when all students are together for one final time in a school assembly. This is a very emotional time for me, as I say goodbye after many years of watching them grow and mature into the wonderful young men and women they have become.

When planning the leavers’ assembly, I always like to include many pictures of past times in my final montage video.

Parents/carers of Year 11, I have a favour to ask: please could you forward me by email any photos (with a few words outlining the occasion – the funnier the better!) and indeed any funny, humorous videos (TIK TOK included) that you are happy for me to show in our last and final assembly.

This assembly will be an uplifting one and, while I am sure it will bring many tears to our students’ eyes, I would also like to bring laughter and cheer to the occasion, making the leavers’ assembly very much one to remember. Thank you for your cooperation in this. My email is jneeds@attleboroughacademy.org
